What a difference two weeks makes! Did you see the mid-April / one month of gardening post? Our plants looks totally different now, and WE HAVE VEGETABLES Y'ALL! So exciting.
Everett is really having a great time with this. He likes to dig in the dirt and water the plants. He also really enjoys walking between the tomatoes.
The playroom has a perfect view of the garden, so he frequently watches his plants from the window.
Everett has gotten really into bird watching lately. We went to a bird sanctuary earlier this month and he had an opportunity to sit and bird watch with a volunteer while we waited for the rest of our group. It's amazing what a big effect such a short experience had on him.
We actually get a lot of birds in our yard, which is surprising since the only trees in our neighborhood are small, new ones. We hung up a feeder and we started putting seed on the fence, too.
We also planted bluebonnets! Texas blue bonnets in the spring are just the best thing. So beautiful. I wish I could plant a field of them. (We bought little plants. We did not grow these from seeds. In fact, we have not grown anything from seed this year. Next year!)

I'm really excited to see what May brings in our garden. "April showers bring May flowers" and all that, so I'm thinking May should be a good month.
